digiDations, a cybersecurity company specializing in continuous, measurable security validation, exhibited at Booth 19 at the Digital Defence Alliance Singapore (DDAS) Inaugural Talent and Solutions Showcase on 24 July 2026 at Suntec Convention Centre, taking part as one of the event's participating organizations.
The showcase ran alongside the PME Conference and was convened for around 200 C-suite digital leaders, professionals, managers, executives and youths. Much of the room had not come to evaluate vendors. They had come to work out where they fit in the field.
A Different Kind of Room
DDAS was set up to strengthen Singapore's Digital Defence pillar under Total Defence, working from the idea that resilience belongs to the whole nation rather than to any single institution. Its programs are organized around people rather than product categories: youth, women, PMEs and digital leaders. The Talent and Solutions Showcase puts that structure into one room, with career pathways, training grants and hiring conversations sharing the floor with security solutions.
For a company whose products exist to validate what defenses actually do, the framing is familiar. Tooling performs only as well as the people who configure it, read its output and act on it. An organization can deploy every platform on the market and still be exposed in five years if nobody is qualified to run them.
Conversations at Booth 19
Visitors to Booth 19 fell into two broad groups.
Students and recent graduates came with a version of the same question: where does a career in cybersecurity start? They wanted to know what certifications lead to in practice, whether moving across from an adjacent field is realistic, and what the work looks like day to day.
Professionals came with the question that follows it. Many were some way into their careers and were weighing where the field is heading, and which of their skills will hold value as more of the detection and validation layer becomes autonomous.
The team spent more time listening than talking. That is usually how the better conversations go.
Underneath both sat the theme the showcase was convened around, which is how organizations move past AI experimentation into strategic, secure adoption. What stood out was who raised it. At most events that question comes from CISOs and boards. Here it came just as often from people early in their careers, who will inherit whatever gets built now and spend a decade operating it. Their interest was in accountability more than capability: what happens when an autonomous system gets something wrong, and who has to explain it.
That is the question Autonomous Cyber Defense was built to answer. Autonomy stays inside a defined scope, every decision is documented, and actions carrying high risk go to a human before execution. Hearing the question from people entering the field, rather than from a regulator, was a reminder that governance is a workforce concern as much as a compliance one.

Looking Ahead
For a cybersecurity company, talent development sits closer to supply chain than to corporate social responsibility. Every organization in that room will depend on there being enough capable people in five and ten years to defend what is being digitized now, and funding platforms does nothing on its own to close that gap.
